The Struts @ Cherry, AC/DC Lane, Melbourne 5-Feb-2019
English rockers The Struts played a special bar show at Cherry in Melbourne’s AC/DC Lane on Tuesday 5 February 2019 as part of their first Australian tour with Greta Van Fleet. Following the cancellation of the main event, The Struts decided to perform an intimate pub rock show in front of 200 lucky punters - a treat considering they usually grace the big stages with the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who, Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, and the Foo Fighters. Formed in Derby, England during 2009, the band played songs from their debut album Everybody Wants and their latest album Young & Dangerous. A slew of covers were also included in the set, capped by AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, which was momentous given the night’s venue being on AC/DC Lane.
