The Poor @ Max Watt's, Melbourne 21-Dec-2019
Oz rockers The Poor played Max Watt's in Melbourne on Saturday 21 December 2019, headlining the Back in the Day Rock'n'Roll Xmas Party. With Skenie on vocals and rhythm guitar, Matt Whitby on bass, Gavin Hansen on drums and Daniel Cox on lead guitar, The Poor played a hard rocking set of songs from their brilliant 1994 debut album Who Cares?, as well as songs from their albums Round 1 and Round 2 from 2010. They also treated the crowd by playing new song Payback's a Bitch for only the second time. Joel O'Keeffe from Airbourne joined The Poor on stage at the end of the night to help sing their classic More Wine Waiter Please.
