The 5.6.7.8's @ Super Deluxe, Roppongi, Tokyo 30-Jan-2015
Tokyo’s all-female rock trio The 5.6.7.8’s held a release party for their ninth album Tanuki Goten at Super Deluxe in the Roppongi district of their hometown on Friday 30 January 2015. The Japanese band, whose music is inspired by American surf music, rockabilly and garage rock, was led by Yoshiko "Ronnie" Fujiyama on vocals and guitar, with Sachiko Fujii on drums, plus Chellio Panther Omo and Yoshiko "Yama" Yamaguchi on bass. Frequent special guest Morgan Fisher (Mott The Hoople, Queen) also joined them on keyboard over the two sets. The 5.6.7.8's made a brief appearance playing in the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1.
