Sisters Doll @ Musicland, Melbourne 5-Oct-2019
Australian melodic glam rockers Sisters Doll performed at Musicland in Melbourne on Saturday 5 October 2019, bringing their national headlining Black Mirror Tour to an end almost 20 dates in all states. Sisters Doll are three brothers - Brennan "Monroe" Mileto on guitar and lead vocals, Bryce "Lipz" Mileto on drums and vocals, and Austin "Auzy" Mileto on guitar, bass and vocals - who are originally from Collie in Western Australia and have been based in Melbourne for the last 5 years. With more than 600 shows under their belt since forming 9 years ago, they have shared the stage in New York City alongside original Kiss drummer Peter Criss, and then came to mainstream prominence in 2016 when they were runners-up on the hit TV show Australia's Got Talent. The brothers always put on a fun and entertaining show with pyrotechnics, made more special tonight with the debut of a laser-lit revolving drum solo set to techno beats from Bryce Mileto, drawing heavily on his major influence, Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee. The impressive two-hour all-ages performance remained engaging throughout and thrilled their ardent followers, dubbed the Doll Army.
