Pennywise @ Forum Theatre, Melbourne 27-Oct-2017
American punk rock band Pennywise played the Forum Theatre in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 27 October 2017 to mark the 20th Anniversary of their legendary fourth album Full Circle, which they're playing live in its entirety for the first time. The album was an emotional one for the band as it was dedicated to their bassist Jason Thirsk, who tragically died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound the year before the album was released in 1997. It's widely considered to be one of the most seminal and emotional records of the band's near-three-decade career, and one of the most defining albums in punk rock history. Formed in Hermosa Beach, California, Pennywise took their name from the evil clown monster in the Stephen King horror novel It. The band consists of singer Jim Lindberg, guitarist Fletcher Dragge, bassist Randy Bradbury, and drummer Byron McMackin.
