Paul McCartney @ Times Square, NYC 10-Oct-2013
Sir Paul McCartney played a surprise concert in the middle of New York City's Times Square on Thursday 10 October 2013 to promote his forthcoming album New. Arriving by taxi shortly after 1pm, he stepped into the back of a semi-trailer truck parked on 46th Street at Broadway, and treated the Manhattan crowd to four new songs from the album: New, Save Us, Everybody Out There, and Queenie Eye. Joining Sir Paul at 'the crossroads of the world' was his band comprising Rusty Anderson (Ednaswap) on guitar, Brian Ray (Etta James) on bass, Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, and Paul "Wix" Wickens on keyboards.
