Christian nu metal band Payable on Death (P.O.D.) kicked-off their Australian Tour on Tuesday 17 April 2018 at Melbourne's 170 Russell, when they performed highlights from their hugely successful Satellite album plus other hits. Formed in San Diego, California during 1992, the hard rockers have now sold over 12 million records worldwide. They have also received three Grammy Award nominations – all for songs from their fourth studio album Satellite that was released on 9/11 in 2001 and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, going on to sell more than three million copies in the U.S alone. The band comprises original members Sonny Sandoval on lead vocals, Marcos Curiel on lead guitar, Wuv Bernardo on drums and rhythm guitar, along with long-time bass player Traa Daniels and touring keyboardist Sameer Bhattacharya.
