Michael Monroe @ Bowery Ballroom, NYC 2-Oct-2011
The former front-man of Finnish glam punk rockers Hanoi Rocks brought his high energy rock’n’roll show to New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on 2 October 2011, in support of his new, award-winning solo album Sensory Overdrive. Along with belting out vocals, Michael Monroe also played harmonica and sax, while his all-star band consisting of Dregen (Hellacopters, Backyard Babies) and Steve Conte (New York Dolls, Company of Wolves) on guitars, Sam Yaffa (Hanoi Rocks, Jetboy, New York Dolls) on bass, and Karl Rosqvist (Steel Prophet, The Chelsea Smiles, Son of Sam) on drums, ensured the crowd enjoyed a most memorable rock concert.
