Mark Ramone's Blitzkreig @ The Croxton, Melbourne 24-Nov-2017
Legendary punk drummer Marky Ramone played The Croxton in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 24 November 2017, as part of his Blitzkrieg Tour. Joining Marky on drums were energetic front man Iñaki Dorronsoro (Sumision City Blues) on vocals, Aurélien Budynek (DareDevil Squadron) on guitar, and Alejandro Viejo Lewezuk on bass. Marky was the drummer of the iconic punk band the Ramones from May 1978 until February 1983, and again from August 1987 until their end in August 1996. At 65, Marky Ramone is the only living member of the Ramones that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the only living member to receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Fans enjoyed a huge setlist of more than thirty Ramones classics spanning their entire career, including many songs from Marky's tenure in the band, including Wanna Be Sedated, The KKK Took My Baby Away, Rock And Roll High School, and Pet Sematary.
