James Reyne @ Catani Gardens, Melbourne 14-Mar-2021
Revered Aussie singer-songwriter James Reyne played the By The C festival at Catani Gardens on St Kilda's foreshore in Melbourne on Sunday 14 March 2021, in front of a sold-out crowd of x,000 people. After making a name for himself as the voice of Australian Crawl between '78-'86 (who sold more than a million albums in Australia during the eighties), Reyne then forged a successful solo career, releasing 11 solo studio albums to date, along with numerous compilation and live albums. In the Australia Day Honours of 2014, he was recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the performing arts as a singer-songwriter, and his support of a range of charitable organisations. Before he heads out next month on his national The Boys Light Up 40th Anniversary Tour, pre-orders are open for his next studio album Toon Town Lullaby - his first record in eight years. Joining James Reyne was his band comprising guitarists Brett Kingman and Josh Owen, bass player Andy McIvor, and drummer John Weston.
