Glen Matlock @ The Grand Victory, Brooklyn, NYC 31-Mar-2014
Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock performed at The Grand Victory in the Williamsburg district of Brooklyn on Monday 31 March 2014. It was the final show of his Sex Doll Tour across North America alongside founding guitarist of the New York Dolls, Sylvain Sylvain. Matlock played an acoustic set of songs drawn from his career spanning the Sex Pistols and Rich Kids, to a song he wrote with Iggy Pop, to his solo material of recent years, and some covers of his favourite songs, which all showcased his underrated musicianship. The late-night New York City crowd then enjoyed Sylvain Sylvain joining him on stage for a few more songs together to close out a great, intimate night of songs and story-telling from two influential and respected artists.
