Duff McKagan's Loaded @ CBGB Festival, Times Square, NYC 7-Jul-2012
Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan brought his band Loaded to perform during a historic free outdoor concert in New York City’s famous Times Square at the 'Crossroads of the World' just after noon on Saturday 7 July 2012 as a highlight of the debut CBGB Festival. The hard rock band from Seattle comprised Duff on vocals and rhythm guitar, lead guitarist Mike Squires (Nevada Bachelors, Alien Crime Syndicate), bassist Jeff Rouse (Alien Crime Syndicate, Vendetta Red), and new drummer Smash. During extreme heat, Loaded entertained the crowd from their stage on Broadway at 46th Street with a hard hitting, punk-infused set of rock’n’roll, which climaxed for their final song when special guest Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols joined them for a cover of The Stooges' classic I Wanna Be Your Dog.
