Danish rockers D-A-D performed at Max Watt's in Melbourne on Saturday 19 November 2022 as part of the band's first Australian Tour since 1990. Formed in Copenhagen during 1982 and originally named Disneyland After Dark, they made their international breakthrough in 1989 with the album No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims that spawned the hit single Sleeping My Day Away. D-A-D comprises original members Jesper Binzer on lead vocals and guitar, his younger brother Jacob Binzer on guitar, and bassist Stig Pedersen, along with Laust Sonne, who has been their drummer since 1999. The Scandinavian rockers have released twelve studio albums over the decades, and four of the last five have reached #1 in their homeland.
