Contrive @ The Workers Club, Melbourne 30-Aug-2017

Melbourne two-piece metal act Contrive performed a private, invitation-only gig to showcase their new album Slow Dissolve at The Workers Club in Fitzroy on Wednesday 30 August 2017. It's been a long and rough journey in recent years for founding members, identical twin brothers Paul Haug and Andrew Haug, as they endured the passing of their father, but the band had a triumphant return to stage for their first show in three years - their first since becoming a two-piece. Contrive performed their brand new album live in its entirety, before a playback of the album in full to complete the showcase event.
