Chocolate Starfish @ The Palms at Crown, Melbourne 24-Apr-2021
Australian rock band Chocolate Starfish performed at The Palms at Crown casino in hometown Melbourne on Saturday 22 April 2021. Led by front man Adam Thompson on vocals, the 'Fish also includes Norm Falvo on keys, John “Stones” Nixon (Roxus) on bass, Darren Danielson (Roxus) on drums, and Zakk Zedras on guitar, who joined after the death of original guitarist and songwriter Zoran Romic in 2012. Formed in Melbourne during 1992, Chocolate Starfish powered onto the music scene with their cover of Carly Simon's You're So Vain, and then released their self-titled debut album in 1994 that reached number 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and went platinum. After separating in 1998, Chocolate Starfish reformed in 2010 and continue to entertain crowds. Billed as "The Best of the Best", the night's sold-out show was 'choc-full' of highlights curated from their Classic Albums series of shows: Bat Out Of Hell, INXS:KICK, and Bohemian Rhapsody - plus the band's own hits. The performance also included Julie Walter on vocals, Pete Mitchell (Melbourne Ska Orchestra) on sax and guitar, and Tim Henwood (Palace of the King) on guitar.
