Black Rebel Motorcycle Club @ Forum Theatre, Melbourne 24-Mar-2018
Californian rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) played a sold-out show at Melbourne's Forum Theatre on Saturday 24 March 2018, as part of the band's Australian Tour. Formed in San Francisco during 1998, and named after Marlon Brando's motorcycle gang in the 1953 film The Wild One, the band members are Peter Hayes (vocal, guitar, harmonica), Robert Levon Been (vocal, bass, guitar), and Leah Shapiro (drums). BRMC performed a selection of new material from their eighth studio album Wrong Creatures that was released in January, as well as crowd favourites from their substantial back catalogue. By fusing together elements of psych, space rock, noise-pop and classic rock'n'roll that weave from song to song, BRMC gave a dynamic performance of dark, brooding rock mixed with an energetic show that fans couldn't take their eyes off.
