Legendary Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley played Festival Hall in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday 30 August 2018 as the very special guest star on a tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of all 4 Kiss band members' solo albums. Ace Frehley is a founding member of Kiss, a musical maverick and iconoclast adored by millions of fans around the world. He played on the classic Kiss albums from 1973 to 1981 before reuniting with the band from 1996 to 2001. The Space Ace was responsible for many of the band's biggest hits including Talk To Me, New York Groove, Rocket Ride, and Shock Me. His band on this tour comprises Jeremy Asbrock (John Corabi band, The Shazam, Kaato) and Ryan Cook (Hair of the Dog, Skid Row) on guitar, Phil Shouse (John Corabi band, Rodney Atkins, Kaato) on bass, and Christopher Williams (Accept, Rex Brown band, Blackfoot, Kaato) on drums. Ace is scheduled to release a new solo album titled Spaceman this October.
